Dr. Roba D. Sharamo, the Regional Director for Africa and West Asia, recently visited Prospect Peace Institute (PPI) to discuss pressing issues affecting the African continent and explore potential partnership opportunities. With over 23 years of experience in international peace and security, Dr. Sharamo brought valuable insights from his senior management roles at organizations like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Institute for Security Studies (ISS). He also served as a Commissioner of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission of Kenya. Dr. Sharamo’s academic background includes a Doctorate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University, USA, reflecting his deep understanding of complex conflict dynamics.
