Governance and development are deeply intertwined concepts that collectively shape the prosperity, stability, and well-being of societies. Economic development is strongly influenced by the quality of governance. At PPI Africa, we believe that effective governance provides a stable and predictable environment that encourages investment, fosters entrepreneurship, and supports job creation.
Youth and Gender Mainstreaming
At PPI Africa we strive to ensure that gender perspectives are considered in decision-making processes and that their need and interests are addressed. The goal is to create policies and practices that benefit all genders equitably and challenge existing gender inequalities.
By mainstreaming gender, organizations and governments can work towards more inclusive and effective outcomes in various sectors, such as employment, education, and health. We integrate gender and youth mainstreaming into our methodology and strategies in our areas of specialization.
Training and Capacity Building
PPI-Africa packages are designed to enhance the capacities of key stakeholders through training at the strategic level and mid-level personnel and communities based on the curricula that will be developed. One of them is a comprehensive Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT). This is an advanced-level security course aimed at those who live, operate in, or travel to very insecure contexts. The training is very realistic and participants are put through complex scenarios to build their skills and confidence. The program's focus is on finding risk mitigation strategies around armed conflict, terrorism attacks, bombings, Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and other serious threats.

PPI-Africa helps institutions and organizations develop a holistic communication strategy by Identifying key concepts, including audience analysis, goal setting, and message strategy. PPI-Africa conducts applied research by constantly scanning, mapping, assessing and analyzing the national, regional and global Geo-political dynamics and their impacts on governance, peace and security of African states. It aims to develop geopolitical strategies often involving managing relationships, asserting influence, and navigating conflicts based on geographic and resource considerations. Emphasis is on states, key regional economic communities (RECS) and regional integration in Africa especially in the IGAD sub-region and the HOA.
Environmental Security & Sustainable Development
PPI-Africa has developed specific community empowerment programs for every region having conducted objective applied research on the challenges, needs and solutions for respective areas. These initiatives will be operationalized with a view of empowering communities towards contributing by engaging in sustainable utilization of natural resources.
Preventing Violent Extremism, Conflict Management and Peacebuilding
PPI-Africa has access to a wide range of serving and retired senior public officials who can mediate or support any peace-building effort in the continent is further able to give advisory on any conflict situation and suggest options for intervention and peace.
PPI-Africa has put in place training packages aimed at conducting Community Peacebuilding training in conflict hotspots. The aim is to enhance societal knowledge and skills to effectively participate in community peace building initiatives.
